    Marsh Parsley (Cyclosperum Lepetophylum)

    Apiaceae (Parsley family) 

    Group: Dicot (Broadleaf)

    Annual herb native of tropical America. It is commonly associated with disturbed moist areas, cultivated areas, and ditches. Young seedlings resemble wild carrot seedlings.

    Leaves are alternate, divided or finely dissected with many small narrow leaflets.

    Flower or seed head is flat and on a long stalk. Flowers are small, white, tinged pink, and do not have sepals. Fruits have two parts and are ribbed

    Stem is erect, branched dichotomously, and 4 inches to 2 feet tall.

    Root is a slender taproot.

     Propagation is by seed.
