2024 Entomological Society America (ESA) Annual Meeting in Pheonix, AZ

Brynn Johnson, Ph.D. student (left) was an invited symposium speaker for the Formal and Informal Teaching (FIT) section of the Entomological Society of America (ESA). The symposium took place on November 13th, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona. Brynn presented a talk entitled "Integrating insect science into the curriculum: State college insights". 

Carolina Tieppo Camarozano, Ph.D. student (right) won 1st place in the Entomology Games Texting Competition at the Entomological Society of America Annual Meeting.

Tennyson’s (MS student) presented his research on monitoring thrips populations and lettuce virus diseases in Florida lettuce at the 2024 Entomological Society of America (ESA) Annual Meeting in Phoenix, AZ.

Tennyson also received 2024 Fall Travel Grant from ENSO (Entomology & Nematology Student Organization) to support the trip to ESA Annual Meeting.

Gabriella Rakopoulos has spent a month volunteering in the lab. She contributed to the ongoing research project on thrips population monitoring in lettuce.
