Research Science Research

Research focuses on development of effective integrated weed management programs for sugarcane, rice, and commercial sod in both organic and mineral soils of southern Florida. Other crop responsibilities include weed management programs for vegetables and biofuel crops grown in the region. Specific research areas include biology of weed-crop interactions, weed ecology, soil-herbicide interactions, evaluation of herbicides, and interaction between pest management strategies.
