Plants appear stunted and chlorotic, often wilting under moisture stress conditions; root systems will appear abbreviated, may exhibit a bushy arrangement of short roots at root tips; roots generally appear discolored and rotted.

Pathogen Spread

Infested soil moved by machinery, surface water or irrigation; populations maintained in soil by numerous crops, volunteer plants, and weed hosts.
