Symptoms

Initially on old foliage near the crown, small whitish spots develop changing to bright yellow and then to brown on upper leaf surface; fungus obvious on lower leaf surface as olive-green mold below spots.

Pathogen Spread

From plant debris by wind, rain dissemination.

Favorable Conditions

Moist, warm weather with 95-100% relative humidity and temperatures between 65-80 F. More common in areas 3 and 4 (Appendix 9).
