Musca domestica
- Adult: gray, 3/8 in. length.
- Egg: whitish, elongate, laid in fruit near damaged or rotten spots.
- Larva: white maggots with black mouth hooks feeding on rotten fruit.
- Pupa: yellow to brownish, near larvae
- Damage: larvae develop on unharvested and culled fruit and become nuisance pests after developing to adult.
