  • Adult: small, (1/32 - 1/16 in.) light green to yellow to pink, pear shaped aphid; winged forms with a black patch on the back of the abdomen; tubercles (bumps between antennae) pointing inward
  • Damage: vectors virus diseases such as potato Y virus.

Green peach aphid-

most abundant aphid in Florida feeds on lower leaf surfaces and produces large amounts of a sugary substance (honeydew) which makes upper plant surfaces sticky. Color ranges from green to yellow to pinkish.
